Media Services Elan Rights & Royalties software not only covers all of the bases for book and music publishers, but also includes a number of forward thinking features, such as fractional content sales, where a publisher may wish to sell things like chapters or smaller pieces of larger works.
Elan is a 100% browser-based application. No plug-ins, Java applets or other “web-enabled” work-arounds. It is based on the latest release of the .NET framework and provides out-of-the-box integration with most modern accounting and order processing systems. Customers have the option of deployment via a host solution, SQL Server, Oracle or SQL Server Express - a free database system for small businesses. It will run natively on any client platform; PCs or Macs, that runs the latest version of Internet Explorer or Firefox.
