Summary:

Bookmaster is a fully integrated ERP system for book publishers with strong distribution and warehouse management capabilities.

All modules have a standard look and feel and are delivered as a business-rule driven, customizable solution. Most publishers require little or no modifications to use Bookmaster and 95% of all Bookmaster customers worldwide use the same standard core system. This makes it easy to keep up with new releases - an average customer takes about one week to move to a new version (compared to many months or even years for some packages).

While most of Bookmaster’s clients have IT departments a number do not. In fact they have several customers where Bookmaster is looked after by the company secretary or accountant. Bookmaster has many functions and can become complex if all are used, but many smaller customers just use a subset of the system and once it is set up it can easily be managed without an IT staff.

What sets IBS Bookmaster apart from competitors is their track record of rapid implementations at large book distributors. A few years back a distributor purchased SAP, the implementation went over budget and they switched to Bookmaster. Bookmaster was up and running in four months.
